Code 8101: “Motor board calibration” (Error)
Situation Solution
Calibration of one of the motorized
ranges failed (Vertical Shift,
Horizontal Shift, Zoom , Focus,
Shutter and Contrast P late)
1. Check t he wiring and end-loop switches of all D C & stepper mo tors (Vertical S hift,
Horizontal Shift, Z oom , Focus, Shutter and Contrast Plate).
2. Check if the latest firmware and software of the Motor C ontrol B oard is installed.
3. Replace malfunction DC and/or stepper motors.
4. Replace the Motor Control Board. See "Replacing the motor c ontrol bo ard (MCB)",
page 283.
Code 8102: “Horizontal lens shift end of range” (Warning)
Situation Solution
Horizontal Lens S hift not calibrated. Calibrate the Horizontal Lens Shift.
End-loop s w itch disconnected. C heck the wiring of the two end-loop switches of the Horizontal S hift.
Malfunction end-loop switch. Check the two end-loop switches and replace if necessary.
Corrupt firmware/software. Reload the latest fir mware and software version of the Motor Control Board.
Malfunction M otor C ontrol B oard. Check the diagnostic LE D s of the Motor Control Board. Replace the Motor Control Board
if nec essary. See "Replacing the motor control board (MCB)", page 283.
Code 8103: “Horizontal lens shift end of range” (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warning code 8103: “Horizontal lens shift end of range”. The sam e troubleshooting
table can be applied to.
Code 8104: “Vertical lens shift end of range” (Warning)
Situation Solution
Vertical Lens Shift not c alibrated. Calibrate the Vertical Lens Shift.
End-loop s w itch disconnected. C heck the wiring of the two end-loop s witches of the Vertical S hift.
