The status of data transfer LED (yellow LED on Ethernet connector) while
attempting to communicate with the controller.
Network efficiency by using ICMP PING (Ping-command).
Firewall settings (refer to Administrator's Guide).
12.3 Troubleshooting RS485 connection quality
1. If there is no connection between the server and controllers, check one of the
following issues:
Some or all of RT, PA and PB jumpers are not set on all devices in RS485
communication line.
Invalid installation of communication line (e.g., A and B wires of twisted pair are
mixed up) check the wiring of A, B and COM communication lines (see Sec. 6.4
Connecting the communication line and setting up the controller).
Damaged communication line (breaking or circuiting the A, B and COM lines).
2. If the connection between the server and controllers is established, but it is not stable,
check one of the following issues:
RT, PA and PB jumpers are not set at all or set elsewhere except the ends of the
communication line check if all the above jumpers are absent on all devices that
are not the line endpoints, and all the above jumpers are present on all devices that
are the line endpoints.
Invalid installation of communication line (interferences in the communication line
bus structure, such as Star or Loop) should be eliminated.
The communication line length is close to the maximum of RS-485 interface (1000
1200 meters) in this case, you should use a cable of the 5th Category or higher.
12.4 Troubleshooting reader connection
1. The reader does not respond to presenting a card (no LED signal on the reader, no
beep).
power is not connected.
When connecting to the controller, DATA0 and DATA1 lines mixed up.
When installing the reader (contactor) with Touch memory interface, the controller
not restarted.
The reader is faulty.
2. After reading a permitted key, the built-in LED indication triggers, but the
actuator operation does not occur.
Th output interface is set incorrectly check the correct settings of
