8. Connecting doors
In this configuration, the controller can control one or two doors equipped with electromagnetic or
electromechanical locks or latches.
8.1 Connecting two doors. Overview
You can connect one or two doors to the controller. Below is the list of the equipment to be
connected to a door:
Lock
Door opening sensor (reed switch)
IN reader
OUT reader
IN-request button
OUT-request button
Door blocking button
Button for opening the door from security post

On both Entrance and Exit sides, either a reader or an RTE button can be mounted. Separate
IN/OUT-readers, as well as RTE buttons, allow the system to correctly determine the direction of
passage through the door.
Door opening button for security post allows the guard to open the door. In this case, the event is
properly recorded by the system as a passage in an unknown direction sanctioned by the security
post.

1=ON, 2=OFF (selects Doors configuration).

Selects normal state of the first door opening sensor. *
