Access point settings:
In the Control Program, go to Doors tab and select a controller you want from the list, click
Settings, and check Display settings > Common box.
● Set the value of Max waiting time for guard to make a decision to allow or deny
access parameter equal to about 5 seconds after the code card is read, the
controller will be waiting for confirmation of card capturing from a card capture reader
within this time frame.
● Set the value of Card accept/reject pulses length (Duration of capture/return card
pulses) parameter (if any) equal to about 2 seconds.
Next switch to Clamps reassignment (Terminal reassignment) tab and add two strings with the
following values:
● Function Guard permit request line upon allowed access, Door (access point) "1",
Clamp (terminal) "O1, normally not active".
● Function «Leave card» line for «Outside» direction (Return the card in OUT direction),
Door (access point) "1", Clamp (terminal) "O2, normally not active".
Switch to Port readers reassignment (Reader port reassignment) tab and add the string:
● Access point "1", the Port reader type (reader port type) Extended for exit
(Additional for OUT direction), Port number "(a number to which card capture reader is
connected)".
Click OK and Apply.
Mode settings (Rules):
For visitor passes that have to be captured at the exit, on Main tab you have to create the mode
with the following settings:
● Affected Staff select all visitor passes.
● Affected doors (access points)
● Make sure that the valid time of the added special rule begins with the correct date, and
expiry date is far in the future.
● In Days tab add at least one day for the mode, as well as time intervals for IN/OUT access.
● In Special rules tab enable two options Outside direction additional reader as card
collector (Allow passage in OUT direction only by additional card capture reader) and
Require guard approval for passing in «outside» direction.
9.6 Connecting PERCo turnstiles and swing gates
In this section, you can find wiring diagrams for PERCo TTR-04.1, T-5, TTD-03, TTR-04N, and RTD-
03S15 turnstiles, as well as PERCo WHD-04 swing gate.
