Resource Type Description
from the entire group, rather than having to create
individual routes for each member of the group.
To add a group to a project, drag Group from
below the channel list into the main FlowView
area, then drag resources on top of the Group
icon to add those channels to the group.
Note:
Keep in mind that you can add only
channels of the same type of a group.
You couldn’t, for example, add a Mic/Line
Input channel and a Speaker channel to a
group, because these channels cannot be
routed in similar ways.
Boundary Box A boundary box can serve as a way to visually
organize channels in FlowView; however, it serves
only to enhance the visual organization of the
FlowView area, and doesn’t serve any functional
purpose.
To add a Boundary Box to a project, simply drag
Boundary Box from below the channel list into
the main FlowView area. When it’s added to the
FlowView area, you choose a color and opacity
for the box. You can change the size of the box by
dragging any of its handles (found on the corners
and in the center of each side of the box). You
can then drag channels inside the box for visual
organization.
10.Once you have added channels to the project, you can then establish audio routing relationships. See
Connecting Channels Using FlowView
™
(CP2) for more details.
