Click under Custom References to add a reference.
Note:
As the dialog box notes, there can be only four custom references.
4. Once you have added a custom reference to the output channel, a reference box appears on the
channel icon:
References are numbered consecutively using Roman numberals, with an “S” at the front of standard
references and a “C” in front of custom references.
Assigning References (CP2)
You can assign input channels to output channel standard references, and you can assign or exclude input
channels from custom references. For more information about references, see About References.
Note:
Before you an assign a reference, you must have already created a standard or custom reference.
See Adding Standard References (CP2) and Adding Custom References (CP2) for more
information.
To assign a standard or custom reference:
1. You can assign references using either FlowView or MatrixView. See the appropriate section below,
depending on which method you’re using.
Using FlowView
2. If you are not already in FlowView, from the Navigation panel, choose FlowView
