Description
This command is used to add a static neighbor on an IPv6 interface.
Format
create ipv6 neighbor_cache ipif <ipif_name 12> <ipv6addr> <macaddr>
Parameters
<ipif_name 12> - Specify the interface’s name.
<ipv6addr> - Specify the IPv6 address of the neighbor.
<macaddr> - Specify the MAC address of the neighbor.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To add a static entry into the NDP table:
DGS-3420-28SC:admin#create ipv6 neighbor_cache ipif System 3ffc::1
