4-4 enable authen_policy_encryption
Description
This command is used to enable the authentication policy encryption. When enabled, TACACS+ and
RADIUS key will be in the encrypted form.
Format
enable authen_policy_encryption
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only Administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example
To enable the authentication policy encryption:
DGS-3420-28SC:admin#enable authen_policy_encryption
Command: enable authen_policy_encryption
Success.

Description
This command is used to disable the authentication policy encryption. When disabled, TACACS+ and
RADIUS key will be in the plain text form.
