17. Take out the piston and remove sealing
components.
NOTE:

18. Pull off tapered roller bearing from the
internal gear carrier.
NOTE:

19. Pry shaft seal out of the hub and remove
the inner bearing race.
NOTE:
See “Special Tools” on page 15.
20. If required drive out and remove the two
outer bearing races.
