Axle (ZF AP 420R)
2. Insert the two thrust washers into the
differential case half.
NOTE:
Mount the brass washer on top
with the lubricating groove
facing the side gear.
3. Insert circlip and install drive pin.
4. Assemble alternating outer and inner
plates, starting with one outer plate.
NOTE:
Number and installation
position of the outer and inner
plates, see corresponding
spare parts list (according tO
the Version). The total height
(thickness) of the plate pack
must be equal on both
differential sides. Plate
thickness of outer plates may
be different.
5. Mount pressure ring.
