2. Loosen hex. head screws and lift complete
retarder along with converter out of the
converter bell, using lifting device.
3. Pull oil feed flange out of converter bell,
using special device (S).
4. Remove converter safety valve (ball and
spring, see Figure 87).
5. Loosen screw connection (M8 and M12).
Separate converter bell from the
transmission, using lifting device.
