16. Preload compression spring using Special
device (S). Squeeze snap ring out and
remove the released components.
17. Disassemble opposite components (K3-
side) accordingly.
18. Separate both pistons using compressed
air from the plate carrier.
MULTIDISK CLUTCH KR/K2
1. Fasten clutch using clamping ring (Figure
143) on the assembly car.
2. Tilt plate carrier 90˚.
3. Loosen slotted nut.
CAUTION!
Slotted nut is secured with Loctite.
To prevent a damage of the thread,
heat the slotted nut before loosen it
(about 120˚C (248˚F)).
