This command sets the maximum power allocation mode based on PD (powered
device) class or user configuration. Use the
no
form to restore the default setting.

- Power allocation is based on device classification.
user
- Power allocation is based on user configuration as defined in the
power mainpower maximum allocation Global Configuration command or
the power inline maximum allocation Interface Configuration command.

Command Usage
The IEEE standard does not define the maximum power of each PD class. The
following table is an example from Microsem's PoE IC implementation.
