16.9.7 Automotive Ethernet Interface (AE)
Applications with ETAS-ETKs with Automotive Ethernet Interface
(BR_XETK-S)
If the XETKs BR_XETK-S1.0 and BR_XETK-S2.0 are operated at the AE interface,
the synchronization function in accordance with IEEE1588-2008 is not available.
NOTE
The technical data for the interfaces AE1 to AE3 of the module ES882.x and for
the interfaces AE1 to AE4 of the modules ES886.1 and ES886.2 are identical. The
functionality of the Automotive Ethernet interfaces AE is different (see chapter
“TAP Function (ES886.x)” on page 96).
