11.6.4 Starting the Web Interface
Starting the web interface
1. Connect the HOST connection of a single module to the PC (standalone
operation)
or
2. Connect the HOST connection of the lowest module in the module stack to
the PC.
3. Start the ETAS "Hardware Service Pack" (HSP) service software on the PC.
4. Click on Search For Hardware.
5. In the "Hardware" window, mark the entry of the module to be configured.
6. Right-click to select System Configuration.
The default web browser is started with the current IP address of the mod-
ule.
The start page of the web interface is displayed.
11.6.5 Saving the Configuration
Changes to the configuration in the web browser must be saved. Depending on
the type of change to the configuration, it may be necessary to restart the module
or module stack.

1. Click on Submit in the web interface.
The change to the module configuration is saved.

2. Reboot is activated in the web interface.
3. Click on Reboot.
The module or module stack is shut down and then restarted.
The change to the module configuration is saved.
NOTE
In an ES800 module stack, only the HOST interface in the lowest
module is activated. The module stack can only be configured via
this interface.
NOTE
If the module stack is equipped with an ES820.1 Drive Recorder or with an ES830.1
Rapid Prototyping Module, its Embedded PC is shut down and restarted together
with the other modules in the stack.
