4.1 Overview
An individual module or module stack is connected to the vehicle battery or the
laboratory power supply via an ES800 Base Module (ES801.1 or ES801.1-S).
Mounted on the underside of the module or module stack, the ES800 Base Module
supplies the modules with operating voltage via a uniform system connector (see
chapter
13.4.3 on page 116).
4.2 Versions
The ES800 Base Module ES801.1 can be supplied in two versions:
- ES800 Base Module ES801.1 with standard banana plugs
- ES800 Base Module ES801.1-S with safety banana plugs
