NOTE:
Actively breathing patients can create
artifact or noise, which can affect the
accuracy of these measurements. The
more active the patient, the less accu-
rate the measurements. To minimize
patient activity during these measure-
ments, you can choose increased Psup-
port by 10 cmH2O. After completion,
return this control to its former setting.
Static compliance of the respiratory system,
including lung and chest wall compliances. It is
calculated using the LSF method applied to the
entire breath. With Cstat changes of the elastic
characteristics of the patient's lungs can be
