• For COPD patients it is suggested you set Ptop to
30 cmH2O and the
Ramp speed to 2 cmH2O/s.
• To display Vpeep, set
Pstart to 0 cmH2O.
• After you initiate a P/V Tool maneuver, you can termi-
nate it any time by pressing the M-knob or
Start/
Stop
a second time.
• DO NOT begin a P/V Tool maneuver when automati-
cally calibration is shown.
1. Touch the Tools button and then select the P/V Tool
tab. The P/V Tool information window opens. Read this
information carefully.
