14. Disconnect the Air Tube from the Ink
Supply Tubes:
There are two types of Air Tube:
The old type has a blueconnector
on the end, the new type does
not. If the printer has a serial
number of before SG6A9H900Z
(DJ4000)/SG6ABH9014 (DJ4500)
it will have the old type.
15. If the Air Tube has the old type of blue
connector on the end, disconnect it and
remove the blue connector by cutting it off.
16. If the Air Tube is new and does not have a
blue connector, carefully remove the tube
(see note below).
Warning: Be careful not to cut
your hand on sharp surfaces
nearby while disconnecting the
tube, avoid trying to pull the tube
off in one go. Twisting the tube
while pulling will reduce the effort
required to disconnect it.
