Enabling or disabling the Embedded iPXEEnabling or disabling the Embedded iPXE
Use the Embedded iPXE option to enable or disable the iPXE open source network boot image that is embedded in the system BIOS.
Embedded iPXE provides a full PXE implementation enhanced with additional features. When enabled, and Add Embedded iPXE to Boot
Order is enabled, the Embedded iPXE is added to the UEFI Boot Order list.
ProcedureProcedure
1. From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Network Options >
Embedded iPXE > Embedded iPXE .
2. Select a setting.
Enabled— Enables you to launch the Embedded iPXE from the pre-boot environment and add it to the UEFI Boot Order list.
Disabled— The Embedded iPXE is not available in the pre-boot environment and you cannot add it to the UEFI Boot Order list.
3. Save your setting.
