13 (Optional) Installing Dehumidifiers

Floating nuts must be installed in mounting holes alternatively on the dehumidifier.
Three floating nuts need to be installed at each side.
Ensure that the floating nuts on both sides are on the same horizontal line.
When installing the dehumidifier, verify that the air intake vent faces the cold aisle (as
shown by A in Figure 13-1), and the air exhaust vent faces the hot aisle (as shown by B in
Figure 13-1).

Step 4 Secure the dehumidifier to the rack rails using M6 screws and dehumidifier mounting ears.

Step 5 Connect the dehumidifier drainpipe.
