13 (Optional) Installing Dehumidifiers

The dehumidifier drainpipe is a hose. The bending diameter of the drainpipe must be
greater than or equal to 60 mm; otherwise, water may fail to be drained.
The specifications of the three-way valve, PVC pipe, female adapter, and male plug must
meet the requirements of the drainage pipe of the air conditioner.
1. Route the drainpipe delivered with the dehumidifier out of the cabinet through the
dehumidifier water outlet.
2. Cut through the main drainpipe of the equipment room air conditioner using a handsaw.
3. Route the dehumidifier drainpipe out of the other end of the cabinet, and connect it to the
air conditioner drainpipe in the equipment room, as shown in Figure 13-5.
Ensure that the angle between the drainpipe and the ground is greater than 30 degrees, and verify that the
pipe length is appropriate to avoid pressure from the floor.

4. Apply PVC glue where the three-way valve, PVC pipe, female adapter, and the cut air
conditioner drainpipe are connected.
