16.1 Layout of the In-Room Access Control System
The in-room access control system can be installed in concealed and open ways. Choose an
appropriate installation scenario based on the actual situation.
Table 16-1 Installation scenarios
Drill holes into the wall for the exit button, emergency
door release button, access control device, and
magnetic lock; route cables in the wall.
Easy to install
and maintain
Drill holes into the wall for the access control device;
route cables from the outside to the inside of the room;
route cables on the wall.
Route cables through a PVC or steel tube.
