13 (Optional) Installing Dehumidifiers

Precautions for PVC pipe connection:
Clear burrs from the PVC pipe port, chamfer the pipe port, and clean dust, water, or oil
from the pipe port using a piece of dry cloth.
Apply PVC glue evenly on the surface of the socket using a brush.
Align the two pipes to be interconnected, quickly insert the plug port into the socket port,
turn the plug port by one fourth circle, and keep the pipes stable for 10 minutes to enable
the PVC glue to consolidate and get evenly distributed.
Wipe off redundant PVC glue on the pipe surface using a piece of cloth, and switch on the
water supply 2 hours later.
5. Install thermal insulation foam on both sides of the pipe.
6. Apply sealing tape to the threads where the female adapter and male plug are connected
to seal them up.
7. Cut through the male plug using a handsaw, and insert the dehumidifier drainpipe into
the plug by at least 50 mm.
8. Mix AB glue and apply it evenly where the dehumidifier drainpipe and the plug with
outer screw threads are connected, and keep the glued parts steady for 30 minutes to
solidify the glue.
Step 6 Connect the dehumidifier power cable.
1. Cut off the national standard three-pin plug of the power cable delivered with the
dehumidifier, and strip the power cable insulation layer for a proper length.
2. Strip the insulation layers of the brown and blue wires of cable 25030384 at both ends,
and wrap the yellow and green wires with insulation tape.
3. Crimp and connect the live and neutral wires of the dehumidifier power cable to the
brown and blue wires of cable 25030384 respectively using the conversion cord end
terminals delivered with the dehumidifier.
4. Crimp the other end of the brown wire using cord end terminal 14170096, and the other
end of the blue wire using OT terminal 14170014. Route the cable out of the cabinet top
to the PDC through the strong-current cable trough. Connect the brown wire to the 10 A
circuit breaker or lighting circuit breaker reserved in the PDC, and connect the blue wire
to the N bar in the PDC.
5. Crimp the PE wire of the dehumidifier power cable using the OT terminal (M6)
delivered with the dehumidifier, and connect the crimped terminal to the ground point in
the dehumidifier.
Step 7 Open the dehumidifier panel, start the dehumidifier, slowly pour water into the water channel
connected to the dehumidifier, and check that the water pump can drain water smoothly.
Step 8 Reinstall the dehumidifier panel, start the dehumidifier, and set the humidity for the
dehumidifier.
