070: Configure a Repeater for Preaccess
This command sets up a port to be a preaccess repeater. To execute commands from the
repeater, key up, press the '*' key and enter the command. The command will be executed
immediately, without waiting for you to unkey. This allows you to execute multiple commands
in sequence without unkeying after each one. Also, when you pressed the star key, you were
removed from any other repeaters or links you may have been connected to. In other words, the
'*' puts you into a local control mode. This mode will expire if you unkey for 8 seconds (see
command 076).
If you key this repeater and do not press the '*' key, you will not be in the local control mode
and will be connected to other ports normally (see Commands 000, 001 and 002).
