Battery master
switch
You can only start the engine when the battery master switch is switched on.
• Switch on the battery master switch (1).
The battery master switch is switched on if you
are unable to pull off the selector handle.
4.1.5 Switching the ignition on
• Insert the ignition key into the ignition lock and turn the key to position 2.
After switching on the ignition, a lamp test is performed and switching states are
aligned.

Do not start the engine until the main menu is displayed.
