12.6.7 Assembling counterweight versions – on the turntable

If more than 7.6 t (16,700 lbs) counterweight is mounted on the turntable then the
axle load when driving is greater than 12 t (26,500 lbs);

Danger of overturning when slewing with a rigged counterweight!
You may only slew the superstructure with a rigged counterweight if an outrigger
span of sufficient size is rigged. Support the truck crane accordingly and confirm
the rigging mode at the RCL;

This prevents the truck crane overturning when slewing.
