Equipment Features (Front)
1. Light Pole/Beacon
– A warning device that visually and audibly warns operators of
system status by displaying different colored lights and sounding an alarm.
2. Hood
– The hood allows access to the dispensing area. Lifting the hood during
production activates the Interlock safety feature, which disables all dispensing head
motion by putting the motors in a low-power state. Dispensing may be adversely
affected if the hood is opened during actual dispensing.
3. Window
– The window allows access to the dispensing area. Lifting the window during
production activates the Interlock safety feature, which disables all dispensing head
motion by putting the motors in a low-power state. Dispensing may be adversely
affected if the window is opened during actual dispensing.
4. Monitor
– Color display for the computer. The computer runs Fluidmove for Windows
NT, the dispensing software that enables programming and production operations.
5. Mouse/Trackball
– Input device for the Computer System. Point and click to execute
FmNT commands.
6. Keyboard
- Input device for computer system. You can use keyboard “hot keys” to
manually move the dispense head and conveyor.
7. Grounding Straps Plugs
– Grounding straps plug into these receptacles to ensure that
you are grounded when working on system repair or production parts.
8. Start Button
– The Start button puts the dispensing system in a power-on state.
9. Emergency Machine Off (EMO)
– Allows you to quickly power down the machine in
case of emergency.
10. Conveyor
– The conveyor transports parts from upstream systems to the dispensing
station and then to downstream systems.
