Rear Cabinet Features
1. Conveyor Controller Module
– The Conveyor Controller Module receives power from the
Power Manager and communicates with the system computer to control the stepper
motors, which control all conveyor movement.
2. Temperature Controller M
odule – The Temperature Controller Module communicates with
the system computer and the Heater Relay Module to regulate the heaters.
3. Heater Relay Module
– The Heater Relay Module communicates with the computer and
the Temperature Controller Module to regulate the heaters.
4. Moritex Light Source
(optional) – The Moritex Light Source is an option on systems
equipped with the dual on-axis light source. It receives power from the Power Manager
and supplies power to the dual on-axis light source mounted on the dispensing head.

Light Systems
get their power from the Interface/Interconnect Board.
5. SMEMA Upstream/Downstream Connectors
– The SMEMA connectors allow for SMEMA
communication between the dispensing system and upstream/downstream systems.
6. FSL Upstream/Downstream Connectors
– A Free-Standing Loader (FSL) is a self-
contained, floor-mounted unit that transports a part into or out of a magazine. The
Upstream FSL holds a full magazine of carriers, which it feeds into the dispensing system.
After processing, the Downstream FSL receives them into an empty magazine.
7. Main Power Inlet
– The Main Power Inlet is the connection for the Main Power Cord from
the facility power source and supplies power directly to the Power Manager.
8. 24/28 Power Supply
– The 24/48 Power Supply receives power from the Power Manager
and supplies 24V and 48V DC power to the system components.
9. Low Air Pressure Sensor
– This sensor detects a low-pressure condition. It will not allow
the machine to operate if incoming air pressure is less than 40 psi.
10. Cooling Air Gauge and Regulator
(optional) – This optional air gauge and regulator set
can be used to supply air to the optional Fluid Cooling module.
11. Tensionator Air Gauge and Regulator
– The Tensionator Air Gauge and Regulator supplies
air to the automatic Tensionator, which periodically tightens the drive cables.
12. Tooling Air Gauge and Regulator
– The Tooling Air Gauge and Regulator supplies air to
the stop pins, clamp bars or lifter tables.
13. Fluid Air Gauge and Regulator
– The Fluid Air Gauge and Regulator supplies air to the
Precision Fluid Air Gauge and regulator set located in the lower front cabinet of the
dispensing system.
14. Valve Air Gauge and Regulator
- The Valve Air Gauge and Regulator supplies air to the
dispensing valve.
