RESTART_FBK The “RESTART_FBK” signal is not only used to check the EDM (External Device Monitor-
ing) signal of the feedback (FBK) from the external contactors, it is also used to configure
manual or automation operation (see all possible connections in the table below).
Each safe output and each safe output pair has a corresponding “RESTART_FBK” input.
NOTE: High risk to operator safety
– If the application requires it, the response time of the external contactors must be
evaluated.
– The manual reset device must be situated outside of the danger zone in a location
where the danger zone is clearly visible.
– It must not be possible to access the manual reset device from inside of the danger
zone.
