Electrical Fault Finding Analysis for Power Operated Hood
Symptom
1.
The system will not
function when the switch
is operated
Possible Cause
1.
(i) Battery condition, and
below
9
Volts
replace if necessary
(ii) The electrically operated
switch for the pump motor
is faulty

(iv) Faulty fuse
I
(iv) Check the fuse on the Distribution
board (No.
6)
(ii) Test the switch as described in
Section
M4

Starter Motor
(iii) Faulty operating switch
(iii) Substitute with one known to be
