Mounting on metal
Direct mounting of the MDS D124 on metal is not possible. A distance of ≥ 15 mm is
recommended. This can be achieved by mounting the transponder on a spacer, (see section
"Ordering data (Page 340)").

Flush-mounted in metal
It is possible to mount the MDS D124 in metal. However, with large antennas (for example
ANT D5) this leads to a reduction of the ranges.
