Calibrated Validation Carousel (CVC)
The Calibrated Validation Carousel (CVC) is an automated performance verification
accessory.
The CVC carousel uses the same Smart base unit as the Smart Thermostatted Rotary 7-Cell
Changer (Rotary Cell Changer). The CVC is also supplied without the base unit for
customers wishing to use the CVC with an existing Rotary Cell Changer base.
The CVC accurately positions the required standards for each test in the sample beam. The
following table describes the tests and test materials included with the CVC.
INSIGHT software stores all instrument performance specifications and tolerances.
NOTICE
• Do not touch the exposed surface of the standards in the CVC.
• Do not allow moisture to leak into the accessory.
