Installation
The interface box can be connected to any USB port on the instrument or remote computer.
Probes are routed behind the tubing access panel and into the sample compartment.
Y To connect the temperature probe
1. Remove the tubing access panel. See Tubing Access Panel.
2. Connect the interface box cable to a standard USB port on the spectrophotometer.
If the spectrophotometer is set up for computer control, the cable also connects to any
USB port on the remote computer.
3. Install a cell holder or changer that accommodates cuvettes that are compatible with the
temperature probe.
4. Install a cuvette in the cell holder or changer.
5. Insert the probe into an appropriate stopper (round or square, depending on the selected
cuvette).
Note Install the driver for the temperature probe on the system computer (local or
remote) to enable the probe features in INSIGHT software. If using a Local Control
instrument that has an optional remote computer, install the driver on both computers
and connect the interface box to the active computer.
NOTICE Do not force the probe into the stopper.
