9. Remove the second bracket from the brake cable
(Fig. 1666).

10. Install a bracket and tube guide onto the new brake
cable (Fig. 1667).

11. Using a 3/32” hex wrench, tighten the tube guide
set screw onto the brake cable so that the bracket is
secure (Fig. 1668).

12. Slide the spring onto the brake cable and up to the
bracket (Fig. 1669).
