B.2 Parameter Table
338 YASKAWA TM.V1000.01 V1000 Drive Installation & Start-Up Manual (Preliminary 01-19-07)
b3: Speed Search
Use B3 parameters to configure Speed Search function operation.
b3-01
Speed Search
Selection
Enables/disables and selects the speed search
function at start.
0: Speed Estimation Speed Search Disabled -
Speed search at start is disabled (however the
estimated speed method is used for
multi-function input, Power Loss conductor,
auto restart)
1: Speed Estimation Speed Search Enabled -
The speed estimation method of speed search is
enabled when the run command is given.
Speed Estimation Method: Motor speed and
direction are measured using residual motor
flux.

Speed Search
Deactivation Current
Used only when b3-01 = 2 or 3. Sets speed
search operating current in units of percent,
with the drive rated current as 100%.
Note: This parameter does not typically require
adjustment. If the drive does not run after a
restart, lower this value.

Deceleration Time
Used only when b3-01 = 2 or 3. Sets the
deceleration time during speed search.

Speed Search Delay
Time
Delays the speed search operation after a
momentary power loss to allow time for an
external output contactor to re-energize.

Output Current 1
during Speed Search
<33>
Sets the amount of output current just before
Speed Search is executed as a coefficient
relative to the motor rated current. Motor rated
current is set to E2-01 and E4-01.
An internal limit is automatically calculated in
accordance with the value set for the drive rated
current.

Detection
Compensation Gain
<34>
Sets the gain for the frequency at which the
drive starts Speed Estimation Speed Search.
Restarts the motor at the speed detected by
speed search plus the specified amount of gain
(used for excitation search only).
Increase this setting if OV occurs when
performing speed search after a long period of
baseblock at start, etc.
