Connecting a PC to the service port
Action Illustration
1. Make sure the network setting on the PC to
be connected is correct.
Refer to the system documentation for
your PC, depending on the operative
system you are running.
The PC must be set to “Obtain an IP
address automatically” or set as described
in Service PC Information in the Boot
Application.
2. Use the delivered category 5 Ethernet
crossover boot cable with RJ45
connectors.
The cable is delivered in the RobotWare
product box.
3. Connect the boot cable to the network port
of your PC.

The placement of the network port may
vary depending on the PC model.
4. Connect the boot cable to the service port
on the controller.
