5DX Series 3 Imaging Subsystem Components
The X-ray Image Camera receives power from the Camera Power Supply. The
binning mode and gain control are provided by the The person responsible for the
day-to-day tasks of keeping the 5DX software running efficiently. Their
responsibilities include: controlling software updates, adding and removing users,
managing system security, archiving and backup, configuring the 5DX, and
recovering from an Emergency Stop.. The image data from the X-ray Image
Camera transfers to the Digital Frame Grabber after the External Trigger goes
inactive. The External Trigger signal is provided by the Interface Card.
There are four cables that connect to the X-ray Image Camera:
• Data Cable — Connects to the Digital Frame Grabber for transferring the
image data.
• Trigger Cable — Connects to the Interface Card and provides the External
Trigger signal.
• RS-232 — Connects to the System Controller and provides the binning mode
and gain control.
• Power Cable — Connects to the Camera Power Supply and provides the ±5
volts dc and the ±15 volts dc required by the X-ray Image Camera.
