Operator Control Console 5DX Series 3
Procedure
1. If the User Interface is running, select System Access and press Enter, then
select Quit from 5DX and press Enter.
2. Type ma and press Enter.
3. At the Master directory prompt, type shutdown and press Enter.
4. Type loadinit and press Enter.
5. Turn off the Motion Driver Power Supply.
6. Disconnect the input line for the 5DX System main air.
7. Open both sliding access panels.
8. Using a 5/64-inch hex wrench, remove the two screws holding the Switch, as
shown in Figure 3-19. Retain the screws for later use.

It is possible to do this procedure with the Switch in the system.
However, it is easiest to set the gap for the Switch when holding the
Switch in your hand.
WA R N I NG Mechanical motion can cause severe injury. Turn off the Motion Driver
Power Supply to prevent movement of the XYZ Stage Assembly during this
procedure
