5. Troubleshooting
Code 2006: “Read lamp status failed” (Error)
Situation Solution
Projector has no communication with
the LPS module.
1. Check if the CTLB-IN wire un it is connected with the LPS module (reference 1
image 5-3).
2. Check if the CTLB-IN wire unit is connected with the Power Distribution board
(reference 9 image 5 -4).
3. Check if the yellow wire unit (reference 3image 5-4 & image 5-5) between the
Power Backplane and the rear side of the Input & Communication unit is prop erly
connected.
Code 2007: “LPS invalid parameters” (Error)
Situation Solution
The parameters sent by the projector
controller to the LPS module are
corrupt of not v alid.
1. Ensure that the latest firmwa re for the LPS module is installed.
2. Ensure that the latest version of projector softw are is installed.
3. Reboot the projector.
4. If the problem persist, contact Barco for further instructions.
Code 2008: “LPS failure fan 1 & 2” (Error)
Situation Solution
The supply voltage or the drivers for
the LPS fans fail.
Replace one or both LP S modules. See "Lamp Power Su pply", pa ge 169.
Code 2009: “LPS start-up fail PFC power stage” (Error)
Situation Solution
Failure in the circuitry part of the
Power F actor Co rrector (PFC) inside
the LPS modules.
Replace one or both LP S modules. See "Lamp Power Su pply", pa ge 169.
Code 2010: “LPS start-up fail LPS power stage” (Error)
Situation Solution
Failure in the circuitry of the Lam p
Power Supply (LPS).
Replace one or both LP S modules. See "Lamp Power Su pply", pa ge 169.
Code 2011: “LPS boost voltage generation failed” (Error)
Situation Solution
LPS m odules fail to generate the
boost v oltage to ignite the lamp.
Replace one or both LP S modules. See "Lamp Power Su pply", pa ge 169.
Code 2012: “LPS no lamp ignition detected” (Error)
Situation Solution
After the LP S module has generated
a boost voltage to ignite the lam p, no
lamp ignition was detected.
1. Check the runtime of the lamp. In case of an old lamp replace with a new lamp
.
2. Check the connections between the LP S module and the SPG unit.
3. Replace one or both LPS modules. S ee "Lamp Power Supply", page 169.
Code 2013: “LPS output power too low” (Error)
Situation Solution
The lamp is ignited but the power
delivered by the LP S modules is too
low for the lamp.
1. Check the runtim e of the lamp . In case of an old lamp replace with a
new lamp.
2. Replace one or both LPS modules. S ee "Lamp Power Supply", page 169.
Code 2014: “LPS output power too high” (Error)
Situation Solution
The lamp is ignited but the power
delivered by the LP S modules is too
high for the lamp.
1. Replace the lamp. See "Lamp and lamp house", page 117.
2. Replace one or both LPS modules. S ee "Lamp Power Supply", page 169.
