5. Troubleshooting
Code 7616: “Blue DMD temp open” (Error)
Situation Solution
The wire unit of the temperature
sensor (NTC) of the DMD in the
BLUE channel is disconnected from
the P ower Distribution b oard.
Check if the w ire unit (reference 17 im age 5-18) of the temperature sen sor of the D MD in
the BLUE c hannel is connected with the power distribution board.
Damaged wire unit of the
temperature sensor (reference
17 image 5-21 and image 5-18)
which m easures the temperature of
the DM D of the BLUE channel.
Repair or replace the wire unit.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 17 image 5-21) which
measures the temperature of the
DMD of the BLUE channel.
Replace the temperature sensor on the cooling block of the BLUE channel.
Code 7617: “Blue DMD temp short” (Error)
Situation Solution
Damaged wire unit of the
temperature sensor (reference
17 image 5-21 and image 5-18)
which m easures the temperature of
the DM D of the BLUE channel.
Repair or replace the wire unit.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 17 image 5-21) which
measures the temperature of the
DMD of the BLUE channel.
Replace the temperature sensor on the cooling block of the BLUE channel.
Code 7618: “Ambient temp low” (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warning code 7619: “Ambient temp low”. The same troubleshooting table can be applied
to.
Code 7619: “Ambient temp low” (Warning)
Situation Solution
The ambient temperature of
the projector is almost below
the minimum required operating
temperature of the pr ojector.
Make sure that the ambient tem perature is within specs: higher then 10°C (50°F). Let
the projector acclim ate. Do not ignite the lamp, otherwise there is a risk for condensate.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 10 image 5-22) which
measures the temperature at the air
inlet ( projector front side).
Replace the temperature s ensor at the air inlet channel.
