5. Troubleshooting
Code 7620: “Ambient temp high (Warning)
Situation Solution
Ambient temperature high. Reduce the ambient temperature. M ake sure that the ambient temper ature is within
specs: lower then 40°C (104°F).
Blocked air inlet channel.
Ensure that the air inlets are not blocked. P rovide a s ufcient free area at the front of the
projector so that fresh air can freely enter the air inlet channel.
The wire unit of the ambient
temperature sensor (NTC) is
disconnected from the Power
distribution boar d.
Check if the wire unit (reference 10 ) of the am bient temperature sen sor is connec ted
with the power distribution board (reference 10 imag e 5-23)
Malfunction Fan Control bo ard. Replace the Fan Control Board. See "Replacing the Fan control board", page 278.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 10 image 5-22) which
measures the temperature at the air
inlet ( projector front side).
Replace the temperature s ensor at the air inlet channel.

Code 7621: “Ambient temp high” (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warning code 7620: “Ambient temp high”. The same troubleshooting table can be
applied to.
Code 7622: “Ambient temp short” (Error)
Situation Solution
Damaged w ire unit of the ambient
temperature sensor (reference 10
image 5-22 and image 5-23).
Repair or replace the wire unit.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 10 image 5-22) which
measures the temperature at the air
inlet ( projector front side).
Replace the temperature s ensor at the air inlet c
hannel.
Code 7623: “Ambient temp open” (Error)
Situation Solution
The wire unit of the ambient
temperature sensor (NTC) is
disconnected from the Power
Distribution boa rd.
Check if the wire unit (reference 10 image 5-23) of the ambient temperature sensor is
connected with the power distribution board.
Damaged w ire unit of the ambient
temperature sensor (reference 10
image 5-22 and image 5-23).
Repair or replace the wire unit.

measures the temperature at the air
inlet ( projector front side).
Replace the temperature s ensor at the air inlet channel.
