5. Troubleshooting
Situation Solution
The wire unit of the S M P S is
disconnected from the Power
Distribution boa rd.
Check if the wire unit (reference 1 image 5-33) of the SMPS control is c onnected w ith the
power distribution board.
The wire unit of the temperature
sensor on the SM PS is damaged .
Check if the wire unit (reference 1 image 5-34) of the temperature s ensor on the SMPS
is not dam aged. Replace sensor and wires if necessary.
Malfunction Fan Control bo ard. Replace the Fan Control Board. See "Replacing the Fan control board", page 278.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 1image 5-34) which
measures the temperature at the
secondary side of the SMPS.
Replace the temperature sensor.

Code 7699: “Power supply secondary temp high” (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warn ing code 7698: “P ower supply secondary temp high”. The same troubleshooting
table can be applied to.
Code 7700: “Power supply secondary temp open” (Error)

temperature sensor (reference

Repair or replace the wire unit.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 1 image 5-34) which
measures the temperature at
heatsink of the sec ondary side of the
SMPS.
Replace the temperature sensor mounted on the heatsink of the secondary side of the
SMPS (reference 1image 5-34).
Code 7702: “Power supply primary DCDC temp low” (Error)
This error code is prob ably pr eceded by the warning code 77023: “Power supply p rimary DCDC temp low”. The s ame troubleshoot-
ing table c an be a pplied to.
