Code 8118: “Lens focus current too high” (Warning)
Situation Solution
The LED “ERROR CH5/6” on the
Motor Control Boa rd lit up indicating
that there is a problem with the lens
focus or lens zoom. See also "Motor
Control Board Diagnostic LEDs",
page 310.
Check if:
• the electrical soc ket of the Lens or Lens Holder are not damaged (sh ort circuit).
• the wire unit between Motor Control Board and Lens Holder socket is not damaged
(short circ uit).
• the mounted Lens is not malfun ctioning.
Code 8119: “Lens focus current too high” (Error)

Code 8120: “Lens zoom current too high” (Warning)

Check if:
• the wire unit of the DC mo tor of the Shutter is not damaged (causing a short c ircuit).
• the DC motor of the Shutter is not malfunctioning.
Code 8123: “Shutter current too high” (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warning code 8122: “Shutter c urrent too h igh”. T he sa me troubleshooting table can be

Code 8126: “Lens hits prism” (Warning)
Situation Solution
The mo unted lens touches the prism.
Shift the lens in the opposite direction.
Code 8127: “Lens hits prism” (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warning code 8126: “Lens hits prism”. The same troublesh ooting table c an be applied
to.
Code 8128: “Horizontal lens shift stopped” (Warning)
Situation Solution
Motor C ontrol Bo ard not calibrated. Calibrate the M otor Control Board. See "Calibrate Motor Control Board", page 286.
Horizontal shift motor disco nnected. Check if the wire unit of the horizontal shift motor is connected with the motor.
Malfunction horizontal shift m otor. Replace the horizontal shift motor. See "Replacement of the Horizontal Shift stepper
motor", page 236.
Code 8129: “Horizontal lens shift stopped” (Error)
