5. Troubleshooting
Code 8130: “Vertical lens shift stopped” (Warning)
Situation Solution
Motor C ontrol Bo ard not calibrated. Calibrate the M otor Control Board. See "Calibrate Motor Control Board", page 286.
Vertical shift m otor d isconnected. Check if the wire unit of the vertical shift m otor is connected with the m otor.
Malfunction v ertical shift m otor. Replace the vertical s hift motor. See "Replacement of the Ve rtical S hift stepper motor",
page 234.
Code 8131: “Vertical lens shift stopped” (Error)
This er ror code is probably preceded by the warning code 8130: “Vertical lens shift stopped”. The same troubleshooting table can
be a pplied to.
Code 8132: “Lens focus stopped” (Warning)
Situation Solution
Lens not mounted.
Install lens. S ee installation ma nual of the HDF projector.
Focus range n ot calibrated.
Calibrate the lens. See installation manual of the HDF projector.
Lens malfunction. Replace lens. S ee installation manual of the HDF projector.
Code 8133: “Lens focus stopped” (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warning code 8132: “Lens focus stopped”. T he s ame troubleshooting table can be
applied to.
Code 8134: “Lens zoom stopped” (Warning)
Situation Solution
Lens not mounted.
Install lens. S ee installation ma nual of the HDF projector.
Zoom range not calibrated.
Calibrate the lens. See installation manual of the HDF projector.
Lens malfunction. Replace lens. S ee installation manual of the HDF projector.
Code 8135: “Lens zoom stopped” (Error)
This error c ode is probably prec eded by the w arning code 8134: “Lens zoom stopped”. The same troubleshooting table can be
applied to.
Code 8502: “Reading lamp info module” (Error)
Situation Solution
Damaged La mp Info module
socket s.
1. Check if the blue socket at the front of the Lamp Hous e (reference 1 image 5-11) is
not dam aged. If damaged, replace the Lamp Info module.
2. Check if the blue soc ket inside the Lamp House compartment (reference 2
image 5-12) is not damaged. If damaged, replace the main wire tree.
Wire unit of the Lamp Info module
socket is disc onnected from the
Power Backplane.
Reconnect the wire unit (reference 6 image 5-13) with the P ower Distribution board.
Malfunction Lamp Info Module. T he
projector c an not read from the
installed La mp Info Module.
In case no other “board read er rors” appears, replace the Lamp Info Module. The Lamp
Info M odule is located inside the Lamp House, behind the blue socket.
Malfunction internal RS485
communication line. The FCB, MCB
and CLO also reports “read er rors”.
Disconnect the board s one by one from the internal RS4 85 line until this error disappears.
Replace the board which makes this error goe s away. See chapter "Projector block
diagram", page 15, to know which boards are us ing the internal RS485 comm unication
line. If the problem remains replace the PMP. See "Replacing the PMP board", page 156.
Code 8520: “Tilt rotation not allowed” (Warning)
Situation Solution
The pr ojector is tilted in a position
which is n ot allowed.
Ensure that the right side (input side) of the projec tor doesn’t face the ceiling. To know
the exact tilting range see installation manual of the HDF projector.
Tilt sensor is not calibrated.
Calibrate the tilt sensor. See installation manual of the HDF projector for tilt sensor
calibration procedure.
