Reclose (O-C)
Figure 2.10 is a simplified representation of the test waveform generated
for the Reclose test.

Command
Parameters
Trip Pulse This time setting determines the duration of the
Trip Pulse sent to operate the trip circuit of the
circuit breaker.
Close Pulse This pulse, initiated after the Trip Pulse, operates
the close circuit and performs the Reclose function.
Reclose and Delay
These parameters determine when the Close Pulse
is initiated:
Standing
Initiates a Close .5 cycles (8.3 ms at 60 Hz) after
the test starts. This occurs when Standing is
selected in the Reclose field.
Delay
Initiates a Close after the time entered in the Delay
Length field that appears when Delay is selected in
the Reclose field.
Recording Length This setting determines the recording length and
implicitly sets the sampling rate at which the
recording is performed.
