The %MinVol for a normal patient
might be 100% (100 ml/min/kg body

body weight for pediatric patients); for
a COPD patient, 90%; for an ARDS
patient, 120%; and for other patients,
110%. Add 20% if body temperature
> 38.5 °C (101.3 °F) and 5% per 500 m
(1640 ft) above sea level.
