ing start up, no action is
needed. If message is dis-
played during operation,
recalibrate sensor.

module is not inserted
or the CO
2
sensor is not con-
nected to the module and CO
2
monitoring is enabled.
Ensure a CO
2
sensor is
installed.
Inspect CO
2
sensor connec-
tions (CO

sensor cable to
module, CO

module to
ventilator).
Have the ventilator ser-
viced.
CO

sensor
faulty
Low priority.
CO

sensor signal indicates
a hardware error; or a third-party
sensor is installed.
Disconnect the sensor from
the CO
2
module. Wait 10
seconds, and reconnect.
Then recalibrate the sensor.
Install a new CO
2
sensor, if
error persists. Ensure the
sensor is a genuine HAMIL-
TON MEDICAL sensor.
