Display Item Description
Question Mark
The question mark symbol is displayed on shaded
buttons that are not currently accessible. Select the
shaded button to view the reason the associated task
cannot be performed.

Monitoring the State Indicator
The yellow System State Indicator at the top right of the screen provides the
current state of the instrument. Use the system state to determine the availability
of the system for system activities.
State Meaning Occurrence
Initialization The system and
software are
initializing. The
system is in this
state at start-up.
A progress bar displays during
this state and no program
features or functions are
available.
Setup The system is
available for
performing
instrument
preparation
activities.
The system is in this state after
the system and software have
been initialized or have returned
to an idle state.
Priming
Instrument
This system is
currently
priming the fluid
lines. The
operator cannot
perform waste
or fluid-related
tasks while the
system is in this
state.
The system is in this state after a
prime has been initiated
manually or automatically.
