System Operation
State Meaning Occurrence
Error–No
Data Access
A system error
has occurred.
The operator
cannot perform
any data
access
activities other
than sending
logs.
The system is in this state after
the system has experienced a
database integrity or software
self-test failure.
Error–Assay
Processing
Completing
A system error
has occurred.
Current MTUs
not affected by
the error will
continue to
process.
The system transitions from this
state to the Error–Data Access
Only state when all MTUs have
completed processing.
Error–Data
Access Only
A system error
has occurred.
The operator
continues to
have access to
data. The
operator can
also unload
reagents and
samples.
The system is in this state after
the system has experienced an
unrecoverable error.
Shutdown The system is
shutting down.
The system is performing all
required operations to ensure
that it is in a safe state when all
communication activities with the
instrument have terminated.
